About Us
The Wet Rock City Fireflies was created in 2003 through a collaboration of talented performers with a common goal to perform at the annual Burning Man Fire Arts festival.
In 2005 the troupe changed its name to Radiant Heat a term used to describe the heat generated from a fire breather’s blast.
The troupe continues to foster collaboration and community arts by welcoming new artists and performing at community, private and corporate events.
Radiant Heat recently performed at the Made in Vancouver festival in Yaletown during the 2010 Olympics and is known for its participation in local Vancouver festivals such as Illuminate Yaletown, Parade of Lost Souls and Public Dreams’ Illuminares.
